If You Build a Bluebird Nesting Box-They Will Come! at Inland Bays Garden Center

If you have always wanted to attract Bluebirds but have been unsuccessful, come to Inland Bays Garden Center to learn all about these beautiful birds and how you can turn your backyard into a nesting spot for them year after year. Ryan and Gary Revel will guide you in the proper construction of you own *Bluebird Nesting Box. Once constructed you’ll learn how, when and where to place the house along with what food will attract the Bluebirds.

*Materials (western red cedar) cut into a kit designed to be easy to assemble, easy to install and easy to clean. You will build the Bluebird Nesting box in the class.

Ryan is a lifelong avid gardener. She graduated from Hood College with a BA in Biology and an MA in Secondary Education from Wilmington University. She was a science and math educator for over 25 years. Currently she serves on the Board of Directors at the Delaware Botanic Gardens. Ryan is a member of The Delaware Ornithological Society and Sussex Bird Club.
