Business Registration - Shop Local Extravaganza 2023

If you are interested in participating in the Shop Local Extravaganza on Saturdays from November 25 - December 16, please sign up by November 20, using the green "Register Now" button above. If you have any questions, call Emily at 302-539-2100 ext. 114.
Customers will be encouraged to Shop, Dine, Stay & Play for a chance to win an in-store raffle from participating businesses or the grand prize of a $500 gift card. Every transaction of at least $20 at a participating business grants that patron an entry into the grand prize drawings and that specific business's raffle prize drawing, if applicable. Businesses that want to offer in-store raffle prize drawings are responsible for managing and planning those prize drawings, and the grand prize drawing will take place at the Chamber on Monday, December 18th.
This initiative, organized by the Chamber, is designed to support the local member businesses of the Quiet Resorts which includes businesses of Bethany Beach, Clarksville, Dagsboro, Fenwick Island, Frankford, Millville, Ocean View, Roxana, Selbyville, and South Bethany.
HOW IT WORKS
- Click green registration button at top of this page
- Complete all required registration fields, including promotional information for your business on Saturday, November 25, December 2, December 9 and December 16, and if you are choosing to offer an in-store raffle prize.
- The Chamber will distribute ALL raffle tickets that will be used during the event. You DO NOT need to purchase raffle tickets.
- All businesses participating in Shop Local Extravaganza will have raffle tickets, even if they are not offering an in-store raffle prize. In that instance, raffle tickets would just go towards the grand prize drawings.
- The grand prize drawing will take place on Monday, December 18th at the Chamber
- All raffle tickets need to be dropped off at the Chamber or scheduled for pickup by 3pm on Monday, December 18th.
- Participating businesses will be listed on the Chamber's Facebook Event Page
- Please accept Facebook co-host request. This will allow you to add information to event page and the event will show up on your business page. (If applicable)
- The Chamber will distribute flyers. Please hang in the store.
- Educate employees that the event is on Saturdays ONLY (November 25th, December 2nd, 9th, and 16th). It is recommended that purchases of $20+ grant entry into the raffle. ONLY give raffle tickets out on these dates!
- You are responsible for all tickets you are given. In order for us to track the number of participation, we must be able to collect ALL tickets, used or not used, at the end of the event (Monday, December 18th).
- Please keep collected tickets (used) and non-used tickets separate for when a Chamber staff member comes to collect.
- Purchases recommended to be of $20 or more.
- Purchase must be in-store, or online for home-based businesses, Saturday, November 25th, December 2nd, 9th, or 16th.
