67th Annual Old Timers' Day: Volunteer Registration

Calling all volunteers!

The Town of Selbyville and the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce travel back in time as they celebrate tradition and the classics. Now in its 67th year, classic and antique cars, trucks, and more line Church Street in Selbyville for their shot to win “Best in Show” while socializing with other classic fanatics. Live music, food, games, fire truck rides, and family-friendly activities round out the festivities - this is event is fun for all ages!

Volunteer Opportunities:

Check-In/Registration Tent
- Description: Volunteers help pre-registered vehicles check in and on-site vehicle registration. Volunteers will also assist in distributing event materials and answer questions.

- Shift Time(s): 6:00 am - 10:00 am
Parking
- Description: Volunteers assist in directing registered vehicles for event parking on Church Street.
- Shift Time(s): 7:00 am - 11:00 am
Information Station & Runners
- Description: Volunteers assist in distributing event information and actively handing out Historic Walking Tour cards and Promoting People's Choice surveys.
- Shift Time(s):
  - 8:00 am -11:30 am
  - 11:30 am -3:00 pm
Golf Cart Drivers
- Description: Volunteers will be responsible for safe transport of event supplies, volunteers, staff, and guests as needed. Must be 25 years old with valid driver's license.
- Shift Time(s):
  - 8:00 am-11:30 am
  - 11:30 am - 3:00pm
Children's Activities
- Description: Volunteers will be responsible for supervision of the children's area (inflatables, games, dunk tank, etc.) and ensure the following of rules.
- Shift Time(s):
  - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
  - 12:00 pm - 3:00pm
Beer Garden (must be 21 to work, ABC certified)
- Description: Volunteers will be responsible to check ID and ensure everyone entering is 21+
- Shift Time(s):
  - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
  - 12:00pm - 2:00 pm

Registration Instructions

Select the green "Register Now" button at the top of the event page
Select "Click here to continue your registration" under the "Not a member" section on the right hand side of the screen
Enter your name and contact information in appropriate fields. Double-check your email address!
Select the volunteer assignment you would like. Note* if you are interested in volunteering for more than one time slot, select Add Attendee and complete the info section for each additional volunteer shift you would like.
You will receive a confirmation email that confirms your volunteer registration. You will receive communication of more details for your assignment closer to the date you will be helping. All questions can be directed to Alyssa at events@thequietresorts.com
