The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce and Big Chill Beach Club proudly present the 2024 Lifeguard Award Celebration. This annual event honors the outstanding men and women of the local lifeguard patrols with a "Summer Classic" theme for the festivities. 

Enjoy a taco bar, music, and a cash bar along with music by DJ Bump and killer views. Awards will be given to the 2024 "Lifeguards of the Year," recognizing a member from each of the eight patrols as voted by their fellow lifeguards and selected by their captains. 

Nationals are taking place August 7-9. We look forward to recognizing those representing Sussex County Lifesaving Association!

Guards attend for FREE! Guards can pre-register through the Chamber.
Guests of guards, Chamber, and community members = $10

EARLY REGISTRATION: EVENT T-SHIRT
All guards who pre-register by August 1 will receive a FREE event t-shirt, sponsored by Fells Point Surf. Guards who register by July 24 will be guaranteed their selected size.
Shirts available for pre-sale for guests who RSVP for $10.

SHIRT SALES TO SUPPORT SCLA LIFEGUARDS
If you are a friend or family member of a guard or simply wish to support the patrols, purchase a Lifeguard Award shirt!


A portion of proceeds raised from t-shirt sales will support local lifeguards who will represent SCLA (Sussex County Lifesaving Association) in Nationals this year! Shirts cost $10 and can be purchased through the registration portal.
