DESCRIPTION:Join the Fenwick Island Beach Patrol at their annual Town Bonfire on Saturday July 5th between 7-10 p.m. at the Bayard Street Beach.  Bring your cooler and beach chairs.  There will be a DJ\, silent auction (bids start at 9:00 p.m.)\, 50/50 raffle\, games with the lifeguards for children\, t-shirts for sale\, and much more.  Rain date will be Sunday\, July 6th.\n\n\n\nThe Annual Beach Bonfire is a wonderful opportunity to have fun on the beach and enjoy the glow of the bonfire AND also explore the "wonders of the night" by stargazing after the sun sets.  Come and visit the DarkSky table and learn how to find stars and planets using SkyView\,  free on your smartphone   PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!\n\n\n\nLearn ways to preserve 'dark skies' in Fenwick Island by using 'responsible' nighttime lighting utilizing lights that have minimal negative impact on the environment (birds\, pollinators\, turtles\, nocturnal animals)\, on human health (via light pollution at night when asleep) and on starry skies.
